In addition to our Recreational, Academy and Advanced Programs, Altitude Football Club offers many different camps and training academies throughout the year. All camps and academies are organized and lead by staff, to ensure that players are provided with developmentally appropriate training. Camps are skill focused and help players advance in specific areas of the game. In a camp we will warm up, work drills, and then scrimmage to put practice to the test.
The Altitude 3v3 Summer League is designed to keep players playing through the summer. This league is for U9 – U14 boys and girls. Each team will play 10 games (2 per day) 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, and 7/18. All games will be at Graham Field.
When: 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, and 7/18
Where: Graham Field
Time: 5:00pm – 8:00pm. All games will end by 8:00pm
The Altitude recreational Day Camp is fun way to spend the summer. Players will arrive and immediately get started with a fun group game. During the morning session, players will learn basic technical skills with a soccer ball. Players will then break for lunch, where they will eat and participate in fun group activities and icebreakers. In the afternoon, players will return to big group activities and finish the day with a scrimmage. These camps are focused around fun, socialization and interpersonal skills as much as soccer. Participants often tell us they want to come back for additional weeks. These camps are great for the rookie or even the seasoned veteran. Our staff keeps it fun and safe, so be sure to reserve your spot today.
Keeper and Finisher camps are designed to focus on specific aspects of the game. Additional coaches are brought in to help develop player’s skill in finishing the ball (from whatever position they play on the field) and for keepers, to better defend goals. Often we will bring the finisher and keeper groups together to utilize the other side (finishers or keepers) to help each hone their skill.
We will work on balance, agility, and explosive speed. We will incorporate the ladder, hurdles, agility sticks, and box jumps to help each individual gain explosive speed needed for soccer. The coach to player ration will be 1:7 or 1:8. In this environment we are able to focus on technique, form and athletic conditioning.
