William Mcgarva: CR Coach
I completed my bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Fort Lewis College and started to pursue a career as a personal trainer and youth soccer coach. After working with kids on the soccer field, I realized that my ability to connect with them could be used in educating them beyond the game. I pursued a career in physical education to allow me to not only continue to work in a physical fitness profession and coach soccer, but I would be able to connect with many more students and teach them important values and traits that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. I carry this knowledge and passion into my coaching. I grew up playing soccer competitively up to my senior varsity year at Evergreen High School and have 8 years of coaching experience. I continue to play soccer in adult leagues and I wish to coach soccer for many years to come.
